Mark Zuckerberg speaking in Berlin last week said that ‘ has no place on Facebook’. Do you agree with him and do you understand what he means by ‘Hate Speech’?

Do you for example think that Hate Speech is defined by national law and is something hateful in one country not hateful in another?

Or should Hate Speech be defined at an international level, so that the same rules apply right around the world?

So if Hate Speech about women is legal in Saudi Arabia should it also be legal in the UK?

Should we as a Nation live within our means or should we continue to borrow?

George Osborne has warned that deeper cuts to public spending will be announced in the Budget. Is this good news or bad for you?

If on the one hand we continued to borrow and interest rates rose, we might have to pay much more tax. On the other hand paying back the national debt will mean more cuts to public services.

Last week Apple’s CEO Tim Cook refused to comply with the FBI’s order to create a way to unlock the iPhone.

Do you think he did the right thing? Not creating a backdoor through the iPhone’s security means terrorists can use iPhones to evade the security services. However if Apple did create a backdoor then our personal information could be hacked and our bank details stolen.

Last week Jeremy Corbyn was critisied in the House of Commons for his slovenly dress.

I’ve noticed over the years that the richer and more powerful the person I meet, the less likely they are to dress well.

I assume that they are so rich that they feel they can dress any way they like.

However it doesn’t show respect to the people they are meeting.

I’ve also noticed that this is mainly a British issue, as wealthy people from other countries do .

There is a hidden secret in the world of healthcare, and that is that chemists know almost as much about health as doctors. The great advantage for us is that we can see a chemist anytime we like without having to book an appointment or waiting for two weeks.

Do civilised countries practice FGM?

Did you know suffragettes died after protests at the houses of parliament? Yes it’s true; the women were so badly beaten by the police that they actually died after the protest. However since the last war and the Nazi period we have learnt that looking after one and other is a sign of civilization.

This means that we endeavour to be kind to children and the elderly, we protect the weak and minorities, and we hunt out and stop abusive practices.

However there are many parts of the world where uncivilized practices continue to exist. For example FGM (female genital mutilation), slavery and the repression of women and minorities.

Human rights legislation is central in defining what rights we have in the civilized world. Many people in the developing world don’t have access to many of the things the human rights legislation guarantees us like:

3. Freedom from slavery and forced labour
4. Right to a fair trial
5. No punishment without law
6. Respect for your private and family life, home and correspondence

11. Protection from discrimination in respect of these rights and freedoms
12. Right to peaceful enjoyment of your property
13. Right to education
14. Right to participate in free elections

Do you approve of mass exit from the European Union?

It seems that the UK is not the only country threatening to leave the European Union. However we may be the most important and may also give encouragement to others. So it may be useful to look at some of the core values like:

5. The rule of law
6. Respect for human rights (including minorities)
7. Non-discrimination
8. Tolerance

Which do you prefer on a website, text you can read or a video you can watch?

I had to talk to camera last week about my company and now they have created a video which we can put on our home page. But do you prefer text or do you find video easier? The consensus seems to be swinging in favor of video.

We started putting video on our websites about two years ago and now have had over a thousand views.

This means that we have presented to a thousand people and told the about the things we can do.

What should we do about child immigrants?

We see children in the Jungle near Calais and desperately trying to get into Europe from Syria. But what should we do with them if they do make it to the UK?

If we look back at previous waves of immigrants, we can see the older generation had problems adapting to our society, but the children for the most part were very good at integrating.

Many of them went through our schooling system, and then became our doctors, lawyers, accountants and business people.

So if they get here, Syrian children will almost certainly do the same.

Because they have been through very bad experiences as children, they will work very hard to get on in the world.

So it may be that it I these very children become important to us in the years to come.

Should we leave the EU?

In the coming months people in the UK will be asked to . The arguments are that the EU either interferes too much in the way we run our country, or that we need the EU as our most important trading partner.

Many people haven’t a clue as to the arguments and may not bother to vote. But many others will.
